Assigned to Company G, he served through the remainder of the war. He lost a leg in battle in the Maryland campaign. He married a widow Mary Francis Parson Garrison 4 Apr 1879. He entered Richmond Soldier's Home 22 Dec 1919 age 73, died 11 Mar 1926. He is buried in Hollywood Cemetary, Richmond, Va. President of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis is also buried here. |
